Noel Hart is an Australian Artist who’s artwork explores humanity’s as well as his own relationship with nature and the environment.
The years following art school in the 1970’s, included periods of travel, working as a rigger in the construction industry, gaining a pilot’s licence, working as an art therapist, a photographer, a designer in a hot glass studio, and establishing a theatre company, while further studying art and producing and exhibiting artwork. Since the late 1990’s his focus has been primarily on creating artwork.
Noel’s painting studio is located at Huonbrook, where he lives with his family, in the subtropical hinterland of Northern New South Wales, sandwiched between the Nightcap and Mount Jerusalem National Parks, not far from the beaches of Byron Bay. The family share this property with an assortment of wild creatures including reptiles, birds and marsupials.
In addition to paintings and mixed media sculptures, Noel also creates artwork from blown glass, working with a team of professional glassblowers in various ‘hot shops’.
Noel’s artworks are regularly exhibited in Australia, the UK, the USA, and Asia.
